Greetings, our esteemed ladies and gentlemen, groups and associations.
We thank God for His great kindness in shaping and strengthening our resolve to come together as a people to embark on this noble cause to save and protect our common heritage, to further unite us as true descendants of Ekwema Arugo, to deepen our spirit of love and oneness, to promote our culture, and to support sustainable development and capacity building in Owere.
Our resilient commitment towards rebuilding Ugwu Ekwema Cultural Heritage Center has been very encouraging and highly commendable.
As you may recall, the project implementation has commenced in ernest following the flag-off ceremony held on 16th November 2024. The progress so far is amazing inspite of the prevailing economic situation in Nigeria. This is so because of your genuine interest and unflinching support. We shall continue to update you on the level of progress.
However, more funds are needed to facilitate the completion of Phase 1 of the project, which includes the roofing of the main building. This would leave us at comfort towards the completion of other Phases or aspects of the project.
We therefore wish to crave the indulgence of all umu Owere, our friends, in-laws, business associates and well wishers to continue to support the project.
In particular, we appeal to those who have made pledges to kindly redeem their pledges to enable us sustain the tempo of progress made thus far.
May God continue to grant us the enablement in realizing our dream of completing this noble and unity project for nde Owere.
